Credits

Credit is money on your Verrim account that pays your Verrim invoices. Owners and admins see it under Settings → Billing → Usage credits, and in the header next to the notifications bell whenever there is any.

How your company gets credit

• Sign up through a Verrim credit link: your company gets the amount of that link, shown in Billing and in the email we send.
• Sign up through another Verrim customer’s referral link: your company gets $70 of credit.
• Have a code? Owners and admins can enter it under Settings → Billing → Have a code?
• Refer another business with the link on your Billing page: they get $70 of credit, and you get $35 when they pay.

How it pays your invoices

• Choose a Pro plan and the credit is applied to your first invoice automatically. The plan picker shows what is due today before you go to checkout — for example, $70 of credit on Pro 1× ($70 a month) means $0.00 due today.
• At checkout, the line under the pay button says what your credit covers. Your card is still added, for the months after.
• If the credit is more than the invoice, the rest carries to the next invoice. If it is less, your card pays the difference.
• Every credit and every invoice it paid is listed under Settings → Billing, newest first.

Your first month on Pro

• Signing up through a credit link puts your company on Pro straight away, and the welcome credit pays that first month in full — nothing is charged.
• That first month ends on the date shown in Settings → Billing. Add a payment method before then and Pro carries on, billed normally from that day.
• Add nothing and the account moves to the Free plan on that date. Nothing is charged and nothing is owed.
• We email you about a week before, so the date is never a surprise.

When it expires

• Each credit has a use-by date, 75 days after it was added, shown in Billing. If it has not been used by then, it expires. We email you 10 days before.
• Credits expire one at a time: when one runs out, only its own unused remainder goes, and every other credit keeps its own 75 days.
• A referral reward is a promise until the business you referred pays its first invoice. If that has not happened within 90 days of them signing up, the promise lapses; when it does happen, the reward is added that day and its own 75 days start then.
• If you cancel your plan, any credit left is forfeited.

What credit isn’t

• It has no cash value and is never refunded or paid out.
• It can’t be moved to another company.
• It only pays Verrim subscription invoices.
